Mercedes-Benz just unveiled its midsize pickup truck, the X-Class Concept at an event in Stockholm. The styling is a combination of a traditional truck and elements from Mercedes’ luxury SUVs. Mercedes displayed two versions of the X-Class concept: A more car-like styling which features a clean exterior and an off-road styling which has a jacked-up ride height, fender flares, and a winch.
The production version will go on sale in late 2017. However, a Mercedes statement noted that “while a pickup is under consideration for the U.S. market at some point, no timeline is available for a decision to be made.”
